The source believes that Apple could drop support for iPhone 6S, iPad Air 2 and previous gadgets. In fact, we’ve been hearing about it since August 2021.

We have already provided a list of features that should appear with iOS 16. Among these, we can mention the interactive widgets, the revised settings menu, the always-on Dark Mode, features similar to macOS, increased security and so on.

We’ve even heard that the Touch ID fingerprint scanner may be back in a whole new guise, but that’s just sizzling speculation about it. By convention, iOS 16 will officially arrive in the course of next fall.

Additionally, this release makes app monitoring more transparent – from now on, any software should ask users for permissions in advance. Only after receiving it, can they monitor customer activity and collect their data.
