iOS 13.2.2 released. What’s new

Today, Apple officially released iOS 13.2.2 and iPadOS 13.2.2 in public. As usual, the update is free and available for iOS 13.2.2 download now. This is a minor update, and it does not contain new features.

However, it does contain various system improvements and bug fixes. We know that iOS 13.2.2 will fix the “aggressive” use of RAM, as in iOS 13.2.

What’s new in iOS 13.2.2?

  • Fixed a bug due to which applications could unexpectedly shut down in the background; Fixed a bug due to which the iPhone could temporarily lose contact after the call ends; Fixed a bug due to which the mobile Internet could be temporarily unavailable;
  • Addressed issue where replies to e-mail messages encrypted with S / MIME appear in an unreadable format in Exchange accounts;
  • An issue has been resolved that could lead to an authentication request when using the Kerberos SSO in Safari;
  • Fixed a bug due to which the charging process for YubiKey accessories with a Lightning connector could be interrupted.

Recall that Apple has already launched beta testing of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3. Most likely, the next update will completely fix the problem with the background update of applications.
